Project Description:
During winter high river flow, Weber, Hayes and Associates conducted a 20-day continuous pumping test on a riverside water production well. Monitoring included electronic recording of water level change in the pumping well and surrounding wells, water quality measurements in the well discharge, and down hole measurement of water quality at multiple levels of the pumping well. Results were used to evaluate aquifer/river connection, induced recharge from pumping, water quality variations with river flow, and potential for water supply from a suite of extraction wells.
